AMORE Slay & Co

Small on purpose, and close to the work.

AMORE Slay & Co is a content marketing and brand strategy studio founded by Adelita Torres Slater. The person you speak to on the first call is the person who does the work, and the person you will see on camera.

Why this exists.

Two people working through a plan together at a laptop

There is a particular kind of business owner this studio was built for. She is excellent at the actual work, she has clients who say so, and she is losing new ones to competitors who are worse at the job and better at explaining it.

The help available to her is not much use. Agencies quote numbers that only make sense at a scale she has not reached. Freelancers post for a month and drift. Everyone online tells her to be consistent, which is easy advice to give somebody who is not also delivering the work, sending the invoices, and answering the phone.

AMORE Slay & Co sits in the gap between those two. Real strategy and real production, at a size an independent business can afford, delivered by somebody who treats it as a consultancy rather than a content subscription.

The name is not an accident either. Amore for the part of this that is about care, and slay because the businesses we work with are not shy about being the best in the room.

How we work.

Four habits that shape every project, and the reasons behind them.

The position comes before the content

Beautiful work sells nothing if the thing being sold is unclear. Every project starts with what you sell, who it is for, and why it should be you. Every creative decision after that gets easier, faster, and cheaper once it is settled.

One approval, not forty messages

Your time is the scarce resource. Content is planned a month ahead and approved in a single sitting.

You keep everything, audience included

Accounts, files, footage, copy, and passwords are yours. The following belongs to the business, not to a personal profile.

We tell you when to stop spending

There is a point where more marketing is not the answer, usually when the calendar is already full or the pricing is the real problem. We would rather say that and keep the relationship than keep invoicing for activity.

Who this is not for.

This is a small studio and the calendar is finite, so it is worth being clear about the projects that do not go well here.

  • Businesses looking for the cheapest option available. There always is one, and it is never us.
  • Anyone who wants a thousand followers by Friday. That is a different industry and it does not end well.
  • Owners who want to approve every caption individually. It is your right, it is simply slower than either of us wants.
  • Businesses that will not commit to a position. If you need to appeal to everybody, there is nothing here to write.

Everyone else, including businesses only a few months old, is worth a conversation.

Come and talk it through.

Thirty minutes, no deck, no obligation. Worst case you leave with a clearer idea of what to do next on your own.
